Tim Houlne
Tim Houlne has over 17 years experience in the call center services, technical
support, and warranty management industries. Today, as Chief Executive Officer
of Working Solutions, his focus is driving brand strategy, business growth, and
value through back office call center sales, support, and transaction processing,
utilizing remote home agents.
In 1997, Tim led a group of officers through the commercialization of GE TechTeam,
a joint venture between General Electric (NYSE: GE) and National TechTeam
NASDAQ: TEAM) that focused on inbound contact centers support and warranty
management. Prior to GE TechTeam, Tim spent more than seven years with West
Teleservices (NASDAQ: WSTC) where he managed call center services for Fortune
500 companies. In 1989, Tim co-founded Connect Services, an exclusive marketing
agent for Sprint long distance services to the cellular industry and one of the first
companies to offer equal access to individual cellular phone users through a nationwide
network of cellular agents.
Tim currently serves on the TelCoa Advisory Board, has authored several industry articles
and white papers on remote home agent solutions, and is a requested speaker for various
industry forums.
Tim holds a BSBA in Management, an ASBA in Banking and Finance from Missouri
Western State University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also
has International Residency from Ecole School of Management and Grenoble Graduate
School of Business. Tim is located at Working Solutions’ corporate headquarters in
Plano, Texas.
