Mr. Tolbert, CEO of GSS, is an expert and frequent speaker on the practical application of advanced technologies in the public and private sectors. He has a broad background in network and systems engineering as well as technology management and evaluation and is credited with the design and development of several successful computers and computer components over his 20 years in the industry. As a founder of GSS, he is directly responsible for taking the company from a small consulting practice to a fast-growing, multi-million dollar IT solution provider with an outstanding track record of successful government and private sector contracts. Mr. Tolbert is also an officer and director of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), founded and chairs the NVTC Telemedicine Committee, and has participated as a technology expert in development of national and regional technology policy. He earned his Bachelor=s degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland.
