During Christine Kallivokas' nearly eight years of employment at the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), she has taken the lead on numerous ventures including managing the CEO TeamSolutions business advisory program, directing the Member Advantage discount program and affinity programs such as BeneNet, RiskNet, and Principal 401(k).  Over the past two years Ms. Kallivokas has held the role of administrator of the eCommute pilot program for the DC Metropolitan region. As administrator, Ms. Kallivokas promotes teleworking in the Washington DC region and enlists area companies to participate in the eCommute program. Ms. Kallivokas and her team of consultants provide training sessions and counseling to individuals and companies either setting up new Telework programs or seeking to improve their existing programs. Ms. Kallivokas also wears the hat of company administrator for NVTC's teleworking employees as well as herself participating as a teleworker.

Ms. Kallivokas serves other roles in her position as NVTC's Vice President of Operations, such as the responsibility of developing and implementing NVTC's annual budget and overseeing day-to-day operations of this 25-member staff, $4 million organization.  

Ms. Kallivokas holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Documentations and Programming.  

Northern Virginia Technology Council

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the membership association for the technology community in Northern Virginia. NVTC has more than 1300 member companies representing over 170,000 employees. Our membership includes companies from all sectors of the technology industry including information technology, software, Internet, ISPs, ASPs, telecommunications, bioscience, and aerospace, as well as the service providers that support these companies. NVTC provides its members with: (1) over 120 networking and educational events per year; (2) comprehensive member benefit services, (3) public policy advocacy on a broad range of technology issues at the state and regional levels, with involvement in federal issues as they relate to workforce and education concerns; and (4) community service opportunities through active involvement in community projects and philanthropy through the NVTC Foundation.
