Carol Stuart Goldberg
Carol Stuart Goldberg is a management consultant in human resources, education, and telework. Her previous positions were with public service and private non-profit organizations. Most recently, Ms. Goldberg was the personnel and payroll manager for the Fairfax County government, Department of Human Resources. During her tenure with Fairfax County, Ms. Goldberg created and led a telework program that is recognized in the Washington Metropolitan area as a successful model for public organizations. She has written articles on telework for professional journals, newsletters, and magazines.
In the field of education, Ms. Goldberg served on the faculties of the University of Virginia, Division of Continuing Education in Falls Church, and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms. Goldberg designed and taught courses in early childhood education and supervised student teachers. She co-authored the graduate program for a Master of Science degree in early childhood education at Chestnut Hill College. During her career in education, Ms. Goldberg has been a classroom teacher, and an education supervisor for the Philadelphia public school system. She was the director of a private non-profit early childhood program in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Goldberg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University, State College Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in education from Bank Street College, New York. She received certification in information technology project management from Fairfax County, Department of Information Technology. She is a member of the International Personnel Management Association, the International Telework Association and Council, and Leadership Fairfax class of 1997.
