Alpine Access to be Featured on NBC's “Today” Show
Segment takes an in-depth look at Alpine Access and its
leading role in the home-based call center industry
Golden, CO - March 16, 2005 - Alpine Access, Inc., the leading provider of outsourced call center solutions using home-based agents, announced today that the company will be featured on NBC's “Today” show on Monday March 21, 2005. The story takes an in-depth look at Alpine Access and its role in the home-based call center industry through the eyes of its management, employees and partners.
The segment features interviews with two Alpine Access home-based agents. Additionally, the story includes an interview with an employee of the National Telecommuting Institute (NTI), whose injuries sustained in a car accident prevent him from working outside the home. NTI is an organization partnering with Alpine Access to employ home-based agents taking calls for the Internal Revenue Service's 1-800-TAX-FORMS program. This program is targeted to recruit agents with visual or physical disabilities.
Home-based customer service representatives provide superior results to business and government. The ability to recruit anywhere means that home agents are better educated, more mature and have a higher skill level than employees that can be recruited into a brick-and-mortar call center. Home agents also have lower attrition and higher scheduling flexibility.
“The `Today' show segment will bring a new level of awareness to the home-based call center industry in general and to Alpine Access as the industry leader,” said Reg Foster, chief executive officer of Alpine Access, who is also interviewed on the program. “By providing the ideal job to our home employees, we are providing our clients with the benefits of the highest quality customer service professionals available today. These benefits often include 15 to 30 percent improvement in sales and customer service performance. This is a win-win situation for our employees, our clients and their customers.”
The “Today” show airs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST on NBC.
