Nicholas J. Slabbert
N.J. Slabbert is an internationally award-winning writer on urban thought
and policy issues, with special focus on technology, economic innovation and
infrastructure development. He is currently a research scholar for the
Government of Maryland.
He writes for the Washington DC- based Urban Land Institute and his work
has been published by media including Reader's Digest, the Christian Science
Monitor News Syndicate, Urban Land Magazine, the Truman Publications series
of reports on business, science, technology and public policy, and the Harvard
International Review.
Mr. Slabbert's research is concerned with the evolution of urban concepts in the
21st century and the multidisciplinary nature of technological impacts on
society, business and government. He has extensively advised companies and
government agencies internationally. He is available for lectures on the
changing mindsets required by evolving infrastructures.
