N.J. Slabbert
N.J. Slabbert is an internationally award-winning writer. He is International Editor of Truman
Publications, a Brussels-based group focusing on public policy, technology, economic
development and cultural affairs. His work has appeared in publications including The
Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, Harvard International Review
and Reader's Digest (of which he is a former senior editor and staff writer). He is co-author,
with Professor Morton White, Professor Emeritus of Intellectual History at the Institute for
Advanced Study, in Princeton, N.J., of the forthcoming book The Intellectual
versus the City: Antiurbanism in America from Jefferson to the 21st Century. He can be
