Jack Heacock


Jack Heacock is Senior Vice President, Secretary and a founder of the Telework Coalition
(www.telcoa.org) in Washington, D.C.  He is a distributed work / telework and call center industry
expert.  He is a past President of The International Telework Association and Council (ITAC), a
winner of Call Center Magazine's `Pioneer Award' and Editorial Board Member, frequently quoted
by the call center industry press, most recently the July/August 2005 issue of Contact Professional
Magazine's Special Report: “Are Remote Agents in Your Staffing Future?” and he prepared the
foreword, financial models, and anecdotal stories for noted author Brendan Read's book:
“Home Workplace”.

He created Amtrak's Award winning Riverside, California Reservations and Sales Call Center,
designed and implement nationwide `back-office' information systems applications for transportation
and financial organizations and most recently assisted McKesson Health Solutions design and
implement their nationwide `Work at Home” Agent Program, and has served as a regional call
center's general manager with P&L responsibility.

Jack has addressed ACCE, Call Center and CRM Dallas and Toronto, ICCM, the Employment
Management Association (EMA) & Society for Human Resource Management `s (SHRM)
Annual Conferences, as well as International Facility's Management Association's (IFMA's)
World Workplace, IEEE, Nortel's INNMUG and ACD/Call Center industry technology User's
Groups, Banking and Credit Union Industry Association annual meetings, and as Keynote
speaker for the  Japan Telework Association's 10th Anniversary Celebration in Tokyo. He is
known for his “Integrated Approaches” that blend the “New Ways of Working” with technology
for improved organizational productivity, while enhancing the individual employee's ability to
better balance their work and family responsibilities.

As a field grade U.S. Army Signal Corps Officer, Jack received The Bronze Star and multiple
Air Medals while serving in combat with the 1st Infantry Division and is himself a service disabled
veteran. He is a graduate of Valley Forge Military College and the University of Delaware's
College of Business & Economics, numerous army technical and command schools, and is a
member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association of Contingency
Planners (ACP), and the Incoming Call Management Institute (ICMI).
