Frank W. Connolly
Frank Connolly is a partner in ConseQ Associates, LLP, a consulting service that works with organizations to research, identify, and manage the unintended consequences of IT initiatives. He is an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science and Information Systems at American University (AU) in Washington, D.C. having been a faculty member there for over 20 years, including serving as AU's Director of Academic Computing from 1987-94. He is a former Vice President of EDUCOM, and former Director of Marketing Services for American Management Systems, Inc. He served on the White House Conference on Fair Use, has testified before the U.S. Congress and is frequent news and analysis source for local, national and international media. Prior to joining the faculty at AU he was a member of the Management Technologies Department faculty at Montgomery College and served as its Department Chair.
The former president of the Mid-Atlantic Telework Advisory Counsel, Connolly was appointed by the governor's office, and presently serves on the Maryland State Work-Life Alliance. He has consulted for numerous federal agencies (including the U.S. State Department, U.S. Navy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Labor), as well as for-profit and non-profit organizations.
