McLean, VA, November 19, 2003.
e-cerv, Inc. has been awarded the “Most Innovative Technology Company Award” from the Mid-Atlantic Telecommuting Advisory Council (MATAC) at its first Annual Awards Luncheon. MATAC hosted this luncheon to recognize and honor outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of Telework and Telecommuting in the Mid-Atlantic region. The award is for e-cerv’s innovative, full featured, virtual telephone system called Aptela™.
e-cerv, www.ecerv.com, received one of only four awards presented by MATAC, an organization that supports the understanding, development, and expansion of the use of telework and alternative officing in the Mid-Atlantic United States.
Pam Tucker, MATAC’s President, said; “Over the last decade a lot of exciting technology has been developed that supports telework to such an extent, that technology has almost been eliminated as a barrier to telework. But there has been one area that is often neglected by technology firms, – the voice element. The Aptela service from e-cerv is one of the best and most exciting telework-enabling tools for virtual and mobile work forces in the industry today.”
“We are very proud and honored to receive this recognition,” said Howard Freidman, CEO of e-cerv. “e-cerv has always believed strongly in telecommuting and hiring the best staff independent of location, but MATAC has really opened my eyes to just how important and beneficial telework is. They’ve done a tremendous job of educating businesses and government organizations about the advantages of telework. As more organizations choose telework, more are adopting Aptela to help them realize these benefits.”
