TelCoa thanks U.S. Representatives Jim Himes, Rosa DeLauro, and Elizabeth Esty for introducing the Multi-State Worker Tax Fairness Act, H.R. 4085, 113th Congress. We strongly support this crucial legislation. The bill would finally eliminate the telecommuter tax, a steep penalty often resulting in double taxation of income that interstate telecommuters earn at home. The telecommuter tax unfairly burdens telecommuters and their employers and limits telework adoption. Congress must make the Multi-State Worker Tax Fairness Act law! Eddie Caine

Eddie Caine is the Professional Services Manager for Valley Metro RPTA in Phoenix, he works with a team of professionals that serve as a valuable resource to some 2,000 area employers who have joined in the effort to reduce vehicular traffic congestion and improve air quality in the Phoenix metro area.   

Eddie’s unique understanding of and experience with the region’s telecommuting and TDM landscape dates back to 1990, when he began working on evaluating TDM and telework programs valley wide for public, private and non-profit organizations. He serves as the President of the Valley of the Sun chapter of the Association of Commuter Transportation (a national nonprofit that supports individual mobility management professionals in their efforts to reduce traffic congestion, conserve energy and improve air quality).

Eddie also serves as a member of the AZ Tech Executive Committee.
